Lightbulb Need Your Expert Opinion......

Just checking out this Cig below. What type of power do you think it would take to run 65-70? Do not want SC engines.

my guess would be at least 750 per side, which you could get out of 572's carbed. i'm suprised nobody bought that project.

i'm about 30 miles away. i don't particually care for the bottom being painted with valspar paint. it's a nice project for the price, comes with some good parts to. i would pm jeff jassby (jassman) he does business with total marine. i know where they are located but have never done business with them..

damn 750 per side to run mid 60s amybe 70. OUCH!!!!

Open72,

The boat is sold, and ran 68 on GPS w/ 525HP 468's, as for the bottom being painted, the whole hull was blueprinted and straightened. We prefer Imron and Valspar for the bottoms. We've done numerous boats, including a 115MPH American Offshore, and the paint holds up great.
