Default 242s with twins

In a related thread we were talking about Janne's newly acquired 1988 242 SR1 (242 W/350s). Janne has one of the last of four that were ever built.

Then I got to thinking,,,,,,,,,hmmm, did any other builders ever jam two small blocks into a 24 footer......
anyone out there know?

I know a few came close, FourWinns with 26 Liberator, twin fat blocks. Maybe Magnum back in the day, not sure though. Don't think Cig. did.

Actually, I think the early Formula 233s had twins,,,,,,smaller yet!!!!!!

This could be interesting,,,,,Formula may have built the smallest boat with twin small blocks.

I don't think 24 Bajas ever came with twins, might be wrong though.

Four Winns did have twin 260's available in their 24' Liberator in the mid-late 80's.

Did they really??????

I did not know that, seriously!!!!

I've never seen a 24 Liberator with twins.

So,,,,,,,,, does that still make the early Formula 233 with twins the smallest?

Were (2)24 Liberators here with twin small blocks, both '86 to '87 vintage.

That's right . I've seen them too.
I met one guy who got his by collecting a debt. Some guy owned him money for a job performed and offered him a 24 Liberator with t/350s. He never had a boat but figured "what the hell". After he tried it out he was hooked
It caught my eye because I had a 21' Lib. at the time.

My first Formula, "Synergy", had twin small blocks. Had a lot of "Summer Fun" on that boat.
