I've got a Yerf Dog yard kart with front suspension and big tires. I replaced the tecumseh 6 horse with a Honda 250 Big Red 3 wheeler motor. Electric start, reverse, and 5 speed.

It ain't like what we just saw but it is fun.

I once called on an ad in the paper for:

Go kart. 80 horse Merc. $450.

It would take me three pages to describe what I saw. Suffice it to say that this GSXR powered kart HAS to be MUCH safer than the machine I went to see...

Oh and 15 years ago, a friend of a friend had a homemade kart made out of a refrigerator dolly with a Kawasaki H2 750 motor on it.

They ran it 140 mph all the time at their local speedway.

I can see R addiction ripping around the track on one. Wearing the helmets that hold the beer cans!

That's cool BUT way to much motor in a kart of that size!

A 80 or 125cc 2-stroker with shifter is the way to go.
