2002 hp 500 sparkplugs and gap

Your 500 EFI's should take a Mercury part #33-59571 spark plug which is also an NGK #BR6FS and the gap is standard .035.. If by chance this is a carberated engine the same applies.

prwbt33 thanks for the reply on my 500hp i have the a-z speed and marines kit . it has the mono blade throttle body , fuel reg, msd system, ecu reprograming, will any of this make a differance in type of plug and gap.

I hate to give out modified info, especially if I didnt do the mods. The best bet would be to call A-Z Speed and ask them if they modify any plugs or gaps and if the have done any testing on a dyno to see the gains. Usually on a full MSD ignition set up I will increase the gap by .003 to .005. Call them to verify though.
