Does anyone use the Billet Marine XR top cap/shower unit? They claim its 300 % stronger and cools the oil by 40* or more.

we have been upgrading xr's with MERCURY'S its top cap.they are much better than the stock caps , have a steel tower ,are finned on top,and mount with studs.i can sell them cheaper than the aftermarket caps,chris

It sounds like I would need a drive shower to use yours. Would the shower over my stock cap fit over the cap that you sell?

i use billet marine caps and they work just fine. curtis is a good guy and sells great products

ditto on the billet marine caps. Had them on my Bravos and now on my XRs.

we use simerik showers with these caps,if you were using something else you might have to use longer studs.

Will the Simerick work without mods on the ITS top cap? Ditto on how much...
