Cool Cigarette Top gun leaking oil caps??

I have a top gun and I am having trouble with my drive oil and trim oil caps leaking. Has anyone had this problem. I have the "best" caps and have tried new ones still with no luck.

I have the same problem with the caps on my drive oil bottles. Can't keep a clean bilge. Teague advertises "leak proof" caps. I wonder if they really work....I'm thinking of buying a couple. Has anyone had experience with these Teague caps??

It's likely the reservoir itself is leaking. They all seem to develop leaks around the middle seam. Check that and I'll bet you find your leak.

Exactly. The reservior is cheap hard plastic that will crack along the seam after time. I always hoped Mercury would remedy this, but they never did. Buying new reservoirs is probably the only fix, but they'll more than likely break again.

Mine is definetly leaking from the top of the breathable cap. Im not sure what to do. Maybe I'll try those teague caps. If anyone has them let me know.

Thanks

I had the same problem with all 4 of my caps. I picked up a set from Fred at trick and no more leak and a clean bilge. There worth the money.
