My wife, 1 year old daughter, and I are going to Marco Island for a couple of weeks in early March. We're staying at the Marriott resort there. I grew up in Daytona and Miami, but have never been to the lower Gulf Coast.

Anyone who has been to Marco Island, do you have any recomendations? Is there any good scuba diving nearby, is it worth bringing my own equipment, sans tanks?. Fishing charters, etc? Restaraunts?

Don't know about the scuba but you have to go to Stan's!
