OK here is my situation...I have a 1989 206 formula with the wrong drive on it, it was on there when I bought it and I had it serviced and it is in very good condition!! Problem is its for a V6 Its an Alpha one gen 1 with a ratio of 1.8 its 17/19 whatever that means. The person before me had a 25p 3 blade mirage plus on it to make up for the high rpms the boat is still at like 5200 and thats a little high!! even though I still see 55 mph. I am upgrading to vortec heads and intake this winter and I am not sure what prop to go with to get me back to 4800!! maybe a 4 blade! I like the ballistic props they look awesome and hear nothing but good things about them!! I don't want to spend the money on changing the drive because its in good shape and I don't really have the money!! Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks Harry

What type of motor do you have? The 4 Blades will be an option but we will need to consider the amount of transon lift you will get. We have test props available to you and I am sure we can get you dialed in!

We don't work with the Ballistic 4 blade very much. The Ballistic line is a very thin prop. From the ones I have worked on they are not very consistent from blade to blade. But on the right boat they can be a fast prop.

If you are looking at the 4 blades you may want to go with some of the better known offerings from Hydromotive and Mercury. Another option that we have seen good results from is the Power Tech 4 blade SFS4. This is a 4 blade but a little smaller diameter, 14.5" instead of 15-15.25 like the others. On your boat you may not need the diameter and blade are like a heavier boat may.
