Talking DONE! What a relief.

2 lower units.

New skegs, bearings, seals and paint. Start to finish. 2 months.

Nice job. I like your drive stand. I did something similar with an engine stand, but yours looks much nicer.

cleaned with Al. cleaner, then coated with AL. conditioner, primed with epoxy primer, painted with
PPG Concept.

Made the mount to hold them for a little more professional storage look, not for working on them. Going to make an adjustable arm so they will work for mounting to the boat.

Really simple mounting, just drop in the 2 wing bolts and slide in the trim cyl. rod. no nuts needed. Just don't try to remove the 3 rear cap screws to work on it. Otherwise it might create more work.

I don't know about the Imron. The paint I used is an acrylic urethane.
Comes very highly recommended for this application. I did bumped one into the engine stand while mounting and it didn't phase it.
