Ok, my deal to buy some boat molds is about to fall apart. Due to a simple typo, the location of the molds has changed from Colorado to California. I have everything set up to get to Colorado. I just need the molds to meet me there. Is there anybody out there that can help us? They are currently in Riverside, California. I will be in Denver between the 18th and the 20th. I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Joker-don't go making offers like that! Before long I'll be asking you questions about lamination schedules and such!

Cord: How big are the molds, and what kind of trailer will they require, and what do they weigh? We might be able to work something out to get them to the Mid-West, but not CO. Don't want to get your hopes up, but it depends on the above questions.

I'd take the midwest. The boat is 17' long and around 6'6" wide. I'm guessing the weight to be around 1,00lbs. The molds are on casters so they should fit nicely on a 12' flat deck car trailer. Now don't forget, these are in California. I already had a trip planned to Colorado, so if I had to swing to Mosura I could do that.

Cord, I just looked at your other thread and then called WCT. He is making calls today to help you out. I guess he is trying to find a trucker dead heading that way and negotiate a price. Hang in there, he will pull it together.

He was doubtful that he could pull it off. He doubted that he could beat the freight quote to Denver due to the high Cali gas prices. The thing that really does him in that the freight to Milwaukee is even cheaper! It's almost $200 cheaper going to Milwaukee than Denver! We both agreed that would proably be the way to go.
Chart-I fear the $450 to a spot 30 miles from me is going to beat your price to Miszura. Especially if I can get him to cover some of that fee. It just sucks because I still want to go to Colorado.
