Default bildge cleanup

What are you guys using to clean up the bildge area? I have been using simple green.....just spraying it down there, let it sit, spray off. I'd like something a little stronger. Can't really reach down there and clean it all up so I'm thinking maybe engine degreaser.......heck what about bleach?

Use cowisl he' does a great job, all you have to do is give him a ride after he's done!!!

Kidding, too clean it just use bildge cleaner with a power hose where you can't reach. Also when your running around I usually throw Dawn dish washer if I have water in the bildge it breaks down whatever is in there till I pull the plug at the end of the day.

Believe it or not, some of the actual "bilge cleaner" products work pretty well at breaking down grease. Lestoil is a great oil and grease remover too, probably my all time favorite. Dump it in there with hot water for a couple hours, and then a good hose blasting rinse. I use a product called Veristal for heavy stuff also.

If the filth is beyond that, probably time for a good pressure washing in there.

Before winter storage, I've had good luck with spray Gunk. Obviously you need to do this on land and be careful where you dump the Gunk solution. Hose it down to rinse and the bilge looks like new.

I ran Palmolive on the lake so the sloshing effect would clean better. Problem is that I had bubbles coming out the bilge blower. It cleaned it though
