Default Anyone familiar with "Big O" Tires?

I'm considering a "Big O" franchise, and would like to learn as much about them as possible.

Anybody a Big O customer? Good/Bad experiences?

Any franchisee's out there, Big O or other tire/auto service.

I read a article on them maybe 5 or 6 months ago in the "Tire Business" mag. that we receive at work. It was a very informative piece, about them. I don't remember alot about it, but maybe you can dig around and find it..

Are you in the Tire Business now? If so I could mail you some info on us. We inventory around 300,000 passenger and Light Truck and 10,000 Commercial Truck, mostly OE Replacement Tires. We have several Customers in the STL area!!

Thanks, Mitchell

Thanks for the reply.

Not in the tire biz now. Just looking into some new opportunities, and Big O sounded interesting. Any idea what kind of $$ a tire store makes?

Default Had them once

I had a pair of big O offroad tires on my Dodge 35 inch. I had several problems with them they where great when first installed them they began to get out of round. We had a hard time keeping them balanced. So I pitched them.

O,, Good Question, they are so many variables it would be tough to answer that.. How many Bays, services offered, road service, alignment, shocks, Mechanic, competition in area, Commercial Truck, etc,,,,,
Also do have to buy only from them? probably, and once you sign up, your commited to their price, even if you can buy cheeper somewhere else..

My most profitable Customers are either in the middle of BFE where there is no competition within a 100 miles,, or do 24 hour roadside repair's!!

Location and price are the 2 key ingredients's
