Key West World Championships
On Wednesday, March 31, the Monroe County Tourist Development Council voted to give the Conch Republic Boat Racing Association $80,000 in funding for the Key West World Championships to be held on November 14 - 21, 2004.
The Key West World Championships will be joint world championships of the Super Boat International Productions and the Offshore Super Series Powerboat Racing Association.
The presentation was made by Randy Moore and Bill Spottswood of CROPBRA, along with John Carbonell of SBIP and Elaine Motl of OSS. The City of Key West will vote on the official permits on Tuesday, April 6, 2004.
