Mean Dean Nickerson

Friday i spent the day with Dean.10 hours of timing, jet changes and valve adjustments. It was my first time attending dyno pulls and i have to tell you i may sell my boat, keep the motors and put a dyno in my backyard.Awesome day!Sorry no pics but i do have a great video i have seen 6 times since last night.

a few numbers....548 c.i.d. n/a

5542 rpm 650.8 hp 616.7 torque port motor

5619 rpm 656.5 hp 613.6 torque starboard

These are just random numbers i pulled off the dyno sheets.I have about 20 pages of printouts that i am learning to read.

Thanks Dean,Spyder prep and Ike.Things are coming along.I think late May i should be making the big splashdown. This pic is the 509,s I will post pics as progess is made.

Dean also dynoed and tuned my motor. Great guy who knows his chit. the motor ran absolutley perfect for the 3 seasons that i ran it. never a black transom, and i never had to adjust anything (carb, timing, etc.)

Default Dean's Great

I bought a blower setup 1050 from Nickerson back several years ago and bolted it on and never even had to touch a screw. It was perfect. He does a great job.
