"Cyber Boating Continues, sucks.....
#1
Well after all the hassles I thought the battle was over. Wrong......I did a thorough examination of my manifolds/risers including climbing down into the bilge to check with a flashlight and a mirror and did not like what I saw. The old addage, if you can see rust on the outside, there is rust on the inside? I'm getting signs of rust between the spacer and the riser, kind of looks like rusty water slightly leaking, so I checked where I can't see and whoa, it was real rusty. Ran my fingers across it and rust just fell off into the bilge. I know that right now I do not have any engine damage, but I sure as hell am not going to take a chance and risk running Outlaw and possibly blowing a motor. I made that mistake once before with my 242 with twin small blocks, took the chance, chose wrong, and blew a motor. So, hi ho hi ho, it's back to the shop it goes. Damn..................
Oh yeah, Deb is "real real real real real happy".

Unfortunately they both are in the same condition. I'm not going to take the chance, if I gamble and choose wrong, and blow a motor, it'll be stuck on a trailer for a year. I'm just gonna suck it up and do them both.
Maybe I'll rent a kayak for the poker run.
I'll be handing the cards out from the fuel dock like last "Long Labor Day Run". Gee, I made a lot of progress since August. Excuse me now, I'm going to go hang myself.

Thanks anyway. I'm just gonna drive over, pass out the cards, drive up to the Holiday Inn, and listen to you give me chit all afternoon. If I had time, I'd have a tee shirt made up.
