I have a 1999 32' Fountain Fever with 502MPI's. I'm looking for the best way to pick up 5-6MPH. In talking with some of the aftermarket suppliers the most common response I seem to be getting is that I need to install a good set of Headers first. I guess what I need to know is which headers are the best bang for your buck, and how difficult are they to install on my application. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

a header will give more power than a aftermarket manifold, get some cmi headers, the new hardin marine flame arrestor with the spacer, raise your fuel pressure to richen your mixture, [the headers will lean you out some] remap your ecm's to raise the rpm limit and other maps , and the best bang for your buck is lab your props, you will then pick up your 5to 6 mph
