Default power steering leak

any ideas where to look for a power steering leak?
34' magic, twin 502's with 2 external hydraulic steering
rams.
losing about a pint after running for a day. motor on that
side has a slight oil leak, so hard to tell if the power steering
fluid is going into the bilge, or leaking out one of the external
rams.

i've always run atf in past boats. i just bought this one, and figured the previous owner used merc p/s fluid, so i would continue.

any other thoughts on using atf as power steering fluid?

I have a small leak where the cap bolts on top of the PS pump I need to fix. Try taking a look there.

Old hose lines needs to be replaced, probably leaking at the fittings all that heat in havasu and somewhat cold winters and the boat sitting forever.

How did she run, lets see pics.

I have a similar leak, I lost almost 2 quarts in 4 hours and I have a clean bilge so I assumed I was leaking into the PS cooler and dumping it thru exhaust slowly enough that I didn't notice any oil slicks behind the boat so I bypassed the power steering cooler for half the day and don't seem to be leaking any more. My question is how necessary is the power steering cooler? It was 48 degrees today so I doubt I did any damage but do I really need to have it come summer time?

I used some ATF dye and a black light to find a leaking ps fitting. You can get the dye at NAPA and a black light at Lowes or Home Depot.
