Default Boat Insurance in TX

Going to be shopping around for insurance in July. And was wondering what people in Tx are paying and who are they useing for boat insurance? Have State Farm now but since I upgraded motor don't think they are going to cover me! They aren't wanting to cover anything that goes over 55mph. When I insured my boat I have know Baja 252 islander with a 6.2 they said it would run over 65mph and I told them they where nuts. I beleave SF bought another company that handles all the recreational insurance?

So who are you useing? And what are you paying?

My bad! Called the SF up just to see what they would say and they said no problem! Went up $74 to $874 a yr. Have my house and cars with them to.

Call Sy Goldberg at Total Dallor Marine 845-356-7251. I checked all over as well. I was with Allstate before, but found a much better deal with Sy that included agreed value unlike what I had before.

Have you already had your engine serviced by Bob? Let me know the next time that you are planning on being on the lake so we can meet up.

Talked with someone with Total Dollar last yr. They wouldn't ins. my boat didn't meet there requirements under 26'.

Talked to Bob today and he is waiting for the heads to get back so he can finish up on the motor. I'm going down around the 22nd to pick it up!! Crossing my fingers. Wife will kick mine and Bobs a$$ if we don't have a boat for Memorial Day.

Where you going on MD. Where going to Texoma. I think Darren is going up there to? I think thats what he said last Friday.
