Default Changing Drive Oils...Flush?

I have recently had problems with my Bravo II drive (blew up a bearing) and I have had to change drive oil a few times in order to try to get the remaining small metal grit out of the drive. I think between the mechanic and myself we have had about 3 different brands of oil in there. (I know there has been Merc green, castrol GTX, and Supertech) I have been babying the drive A LOT since I have gotten it worked on and changing the drive oil each time I get back. I just drained it out and the oil looks very good. The whole point is I just want to get some good AMSOIL in there to start running harder again. Do I need to flush the drive out with anything in order to put the new oil in or just pull the plug, let it sit for a while then fill it up.
