Default drive oils

what kind of drive oil is most fountain owners running these days.merc hp ,amsoil, or some thing better?

*Most* are probably just running the Merc HP oil. I am. Never a hint of problems yet. I change it every year.

synergen synthetic , it holds up against heat much better than the green merc fluid. Drive temp gauges show this to be true

Gatorone, were do you get this oil I have never heard of it.

I know I am a formula man, but you should try redline heavy duty shock proof drive oil. This is available at teague marine, You will not be dissapointed!!!!
