I use Blackadar but they are no longer writing policies for performance boats.

I got my Donzi and Formula done with Boat US. They are as reasonable as I guess you can be for the old boats. My 81 Donzi 18 with a big block is 800 bucks with 300,00 liability and agreed value. There was no difference in price by changine from a 500 to a 1000 buck deductible.... go figure...

My 1973 28 OS is $600/year through State Farm (twin 350's/Alphas, 65 MPH).

Posting a photo of your boat on OSO may help your rates!

Blackadar wrote (renewal) mine this year. An increase of 150.00 I was extatic. Maybe their not writing new policies.

1982 26' Corsa w/stock 330/454. $700/yr. thru Offshore Risk Management. I'm slightly skeptical as they are HQ'ed in the Bahamas, but they're the only company that would write a boat of this vintage(well...Progressive quoted $3500/yr.) in FLA. Just for ****s & giggles, I re-applied to Progressive with a VA zip-code. Quote dropped to $400/yr.
