Why wont anyone buy my boat?
No calls hardly at all. I need to sell soon, I just lowered the price again! Am I missing something here? It it too big, use too much gas? bad timing?

Hey Ray.....that is a beautiful boat.....but with times the way they are...it doesn't surprise me....I had my Top Gun for sale for over a year and had very few calls....and it was a beautiful boat also....lets face it...not a lot of people can put down the amount of cash for a toy like this....I ended up trading it in....and wouldn't you know it...two days later a guy called on my Gun and ended up buying it from National......Good luck to you....that is one of the nicest looking Fountains I have seen.....

A Couple Thoughts:
The economy is horrible and gas prices are out of control.
You may want to explain why the boat was repowered after only 3 years?
Boat Mfg's are giving really good deals on new boats right now. I had a hard time selling my boat since the incentives on new boats were better. Ended up selling for $5,000 under book value. Not a lot of money compared to what you are selling but can be one issue.
Just my $.02

I can't even sell one of my boats a 23' Wellcraft for less than 10K and a lot of work done in summer 03. BTW, I never hear how you liked the 20+ some odd hors you put on it and why did you do that whole rerig, as long as it took, and turn around and sell it almost immediately?? Was that the original plan? Just curious ....
L8R Chris and good luck.

Ray, there is a limited crowd buying 47' perf boats. Compounded by the times and it is not favorable right now. Price will sell but how much is going to be determined by the action you get. I have no idea what she'll bring considering full restoration. Wish I could!! Can't Rod get some nibblers for you??

Don't give up. I received very few calls before selling my Cig. I priced it right (actually too cheap probably), but in the end, one phone call, a wire transfer and some shipping arrangements (all in 3 days) and it was gone.
You just never know.

The 47 Fountains are a hard sell. I know a guy that has had his 2000 for sale for 2 1/2 years now. It's priced well too.
You have a great looking boat. I'm sorry you are having trouble.
