When you install a new impeller in a sea pump is it suppose to be hard to turn? I had to press and turn the impeller to get it in there properly. It will only turn one way after I have installed it, and that is the way the pulley runs when engine is running.

juice it up with some dish soap, when you first start it its going to run dry til it gets water.
