Default Fountain interior replacement

I contacted a Fountain dealer to get a replacement skin (white) for the rear bench seat on my 1998 38 Fever. The dealer told me that Fountain said they no longer have the same material, and could not supply a replacment.

I think this is unnacceptable. There must be thousand of older Fountains around the need to replace parts of their interior.

Any idea who might have this matching material????

I had a repair done on my 1993 bench seat done locally. I brought the whole rear seat to him. He matched the material and french stiched to perfection. Try a good auto upholster place.

Just thinking, try calling Fountain factory direct and ask them. Maybe dealer didn't want to mess with it and gave you a line. Have your hull ID # handy.

Call Grand Prix marine - Fountain dealer- I ordered one for my 93 Fountain from them. They will want your VIN#. Fit perfectly. Check their website at

Check with Pier57. Their upholstery guy has a lot of the factory leftover material on-hand.

if you find one, let me know - I have a 99 Fever with probably the same issue - the same seams come apart on every one of them

Seam split on mine also, but the 250lb buddy helped good when he jumped off the sunpad onto the seat. Now I tell people to be friendly when feet not on floor.

I heard Pier 57 bought the remaining fabric when Fountain switched to the stuff they are using now. My 97 has had seam issues also.
