Question arneson bravo conversion

Has anyone done the arneson bravo conversion? I have a 36 skater and was thinking about this. Right now I am running the bravos 1 inch above the bottom of the boat. The arneson conversion seems like a logical choice, not near as expensive as other options. Then again I dont have the time or money to do alot of research and development. I was wondering if anyone has had good luck with arneson's customer service and knowledge?

Check in the Formula forum or do a search for "Off Duty". There is a Formula 382 with 800 h.p. Teagues recently converted to Arneson's. They had to lower the engines in this boat, but had good results performance-wise. I heard there is an article coming out in either Powerboat of Hot Boat on this conversion.

Do a search. This topic has been covered before, but no responses about someone actually doing it. I think the cost is pretty substancial at around 14k+ a side.

Arneson quoted me 15K$ a side. For me ...another day perhaps.

I find it hard to say no to family and guests, but one look over the transom, and that would be the end of the threat of being asked to tow toys

EVER AGAIN

Called rik today, $16000-16500 a side which included transmissions. Good up to 750 hp. After I blow another drive I am seriously thinking of going this way. If so I will post results.
