There is a 1997 32' Baja Outlaw SST being offered by a broker on the east coast. We have tried many times to contact this broker. Once we finally reached him, he was very slow to offer info and almost evasive about where the boat could be seen. We have not been able to contact him since, and he doesn't seem to want to return our messages. The only thing he would tell us was the boat is in "Shererville Indiana", somewhere near Chicago. Anyone have any ideas about where/who the owner may be?
I have a friend who has been searching and down to the very short list, but would like to see this boat before he makes his final decision. We may not be able to get on line much today sp if anyone can hook us up, we would appreciate a call. Thanks!

That isn't the boat we were looking at. In fact, we found that the boat is the same as the one in the Chicago area, and it doesn't have some of the options that we were led to believe, so we've moved on.
I am curious about the .32 Caliber you mentioned. My friend has found a 1997 32 Outlaw for $46k at the Ozarks and is now comparing everything to it.
What's the diff between the .32 Caliber and the 32 Outlaw?

Also, I'll be racing in Sarasota on the same weekend as the Shootout, so I'll miss the Lake Rescue Shootout and won't be able to defend my title for the first time in almost 10 years.
Trust me, it hurts, but part of being a hired gun I guess. Maybe next year the folks in Sarasota and the APBA will realize that the Shootout is bigger than any Pro series offshore race, loses some of the biggest racers and baddest boats to the Shootout and and will learn not to schedule races the same weekend.

Sure that it is not Merriville? That's not far from Chicago.

Shereville (sp) and Merriville are both towns/cities in NW Indiana; about 1 hour outside of the Chicago loop. Try to PM Payton or Sean Stinson, as they are both in those areas, and might have the low-down.

(whatever you want to call it) are all basically
the same thing.

I know someone who has one for sale at LOTO.
It's a 95' 454 mag's (365) four bolsters,
no swim platform, and a trailer.

I believe it can be had for 50k.
