Last week I put the boat away with 8 pounds of fuel pressure. Started her up this weekend to find 4.5-5.0 pounds of pressure. Checked gauges and senders. Looked in the carb after shutting down and did not find any fuel dripping or wettness. Any ideas?

How old is your fuel filter? I noticed a drop in my fuel pressure at higher rpm's. Thought it might be a fuel pump, regulator, or bad guage, but a new filter solved the problem.

I bet it is your filter you sucked up some grime from the tank. Change it you should be fine. You do not want to mess with a lean condition as GLH stated it will cost you surely.
I used to have the same problem, I finally removed my inline fuel filter prior to going to the pump. I figure a pump is easier to replace than the damn filter every time it gets clogged.
