Default changing out drums to disc brakes

I have a triple axle with drums on two of the axles and want all three axles to have disc brakes. What is involved to make this change? Cost expectations?

the kits come with the calipers/rotors/brackets/bolts and pads.easy to install.now u need the flexable hose and adaptors for the calipers because they float not like drums, also a reverse lockout selonoid for backing up that u didnt need for drums.and will the master cylinder work? the disc brakes need a different master they say but i removed something from mine for it to work and it did.the discs take more fluid than the drums and will it work for 6 calipers?good luck and as far as price my guess to do yourself in parts about$1000

I converted my tandem trailer with single axle drums to twin axle discs with all Kodiak parts. You will at the very minimun have to punch out the restrictor valve in your actuator for disc brakes, and have to install a reverse solenoid lockout to keep your disc brakes from engaging when you go in reverse.

Talk directly to Kodiak for the answers. They are more than friendly and easy to talk to, and I even talked them into selling them directly to me under a fake business name. They may recommend upgrading your coupler/actuator so you have more fluid to but braking power on your now third braking axle.

Here is my thread highlighting my install:

Is it worth the expense to go disc $1200 vs $400 to add another drum?

I changed from single axle drum to single disc and it didn't stop as well and wore the hell out of the pads. Added discs to second axle the following year and what a difference. It's not only stops on a dime , but it even picks it up .
Going to triple axle discs are a good idea.
