Anyone going to the race this weekend? Anyone ever been? Just curious on the best spot to watch from. I'm on crutches due to a ruptured Achilles Tendon so I want to get there early and get a good spot for the day. Thanks.

benicia is good race to be in a boat to watch if your on land get out as far as you can to the leve there is a good straight away at benicia have fun are you going on the big cat poker run aug 7TH discovery bay.

Gearcase, you and Jonas heading out on the water? I plan on rafting up with a few friends. We're gonna' try for breakfast at Sams then head back up river for the races. We're doing the Big Cat too. Looking forward to it, it'll be the 1st PR in my own boat.

I'm here for the 3rd consecutive year. Don't bother paying for the "official race viewing area", I did it the first (and last)time, you will not see any more or get any closer.
The course is pretty far from this spot. You can go behind this one restaurant area, which is at the bottom of the hill on your right, just before the "official entry point", this will put you at the western end of the race course and you will see all you can from there. I will be there. Look for the Pantera shirt and say hello. Sea ya.

also u gotta come over we will raft u up here at the house if u need dock space and we usaually have before and after party time!!
delta sportboats has barbeque at pit yacht club too on sat,,
