Default mercury raw water pump bearings/ replaceable?

My raw water pump pulley has been failing to spin under load, so I went to different crank pully so it has its own belt. Seemed to spin fine ok with belt off. Well still a problem. Pulled the 2 enter seals and it seems that a few bearing are missing... But I cant seem to remove the shaft. It has a mercury # of 46-71497 Are these rebuildable??? Thanks Kyle

I've rebuilt mine before, no problem. Have to pull off the pulley 1st to remove the shaft.

There are 2 bearings, one each side of the lobe. Been a couple yrs, so can't quite remember, so study it REAL close. But I 'think' that you have to press the shaft out thru the water pump side, pushing 1 of the bearings out in that process. When reassembling, the outer bearing gets pressed in the housing, the shaft slide into location, then the waterpump side bearing slide over the shaft and pressed into the housing. Or vise- versa. Hopefully someone that has done it more recently will correct me if wrong.
