Thanks! I am going to check into these tomorrow morning. These cam off brand new engine that were never even started as the customer needed longer shafts for his application. He wants to sell them, I just need to find out for how much.

Brand new Sportmasters list for upper 4's each I think. Mid 3s would be a good price.. In the 2s I would not even think about it....

If I could get 3k for my lowers and 6k for the powerhead, why not part out my 2.5's and get 3.0's

Oh.. .sorry. One thing I don't know is if the sportmasters are the same for 3Ls and 2.5 Ls. I was talking about 3.0Ls sportmasters.

I agree with frequentflyer, just looked on www.mercruiserparts.com, list price for 2.5 Sportmasters are around $54-5500 their price to sell is around $4500, the 3.0 and 2.5's are around the same prices now, $3000 for brand new ones would be an excellent deal.
