500 hp ,,,prop rotation

I have a 36 Outlaw with 500 hps,,presently doing 68 mph gps,,a dealer said i should try changing the props side to side,,,has gotten up to 5 mph more from doing this,,,can this cause any problems with handling and other performance issues.Have any of you guys tryed it??

Your not going to find 5 mph on that boat,
by changing prop rotation.
I'm going to assume the're turning out
( l/h: ccw, r/h cw) now.
Turning them "in" sometimes results in
more speed, but in my own experiences,
it's netted no more than 1 mph.
Docking maneuvarabilty is worse with
them turning in.
