All-Star 708 cid Big Block based engine?

The exhaust design and the bellhousing dimensions are the only standards that carry over directly from the original Chevy, which means the Allstar will fit right into standard big block installations. The actual dimensions are about three inches wider, three inches longer and the same height as the standard 502, but the new engine weighs about 150 pounds less.

Those dimensions become even more impressive when you find out that the 708-cubic-inch Allstar puts out almost 900 horsepower and more than 1,000 ft./lbs. of torque at 4,800 rpm. Did I mention that it produces those numbers on pump gas and without a turbocharger? That's right, the Allstar is naturally aspirated.


The last information was that Merc bought the rights! Did they back shelf it with Pressure from GM?

I understand Sterling now owns Torque. Last I heard there were working out a few issues and planned to market the engine. But that was like a year ago.
