personal opinions on oil filters???

I would like to hear personsal opinons on oil filters used? the good bad and ugly!!

Ive been using a Fram HP-4 for about 4 years and they seem to work fine.

Search the Technical Forum for the Oil Filter Study. HUGE info in that one.

My first choice ALWAYS: NAPA Racing Filter, made by Wix Racing.

ActiveFun, after 4 years, I think you should change the filters.

Just kidding. No offense I would not put a Fram on my weed-eater. I had one explode on my crotch-rocket years ago, and so did several others, prompting a huge recall. I was one of the lucky ones that walked away.

Actually I change the oil every 10-15 hours.

Mobil 1, if I can't find it and need to get something else, I'll go with a K&N and lastly a Pure1.

Only oil I use is Mobil 1.

AC Delco PF1218. Good construction, good flow, good filtering ability. Only about $3.00. That along with 15w-50 Mobil 1 from Walmart at $4.00 a quart makes for good protection reasonably priced.
