This is a 2 part question....


I have (2) 1997 HP500 carb motors that I am selling. The accessories are in really good condition and the motors are really clean for having 700 hours on them. The top end(s) were rebuilt 300 hrs ago.The Gil exhaust are on these motors. One motor has a valve problem (needs rebuild) and the other is running but could use a freshening as well. Any takers?? Would you sell the motors with or without the exhaust??

What do you think the motors are worth?

Lessee. what are two big block cores worth?......... Are they tall blocks?.......

They are 100% complete motors, just need rebuilds.

i would guess around 4k a piece , 7.5k for the pair . being that they are 7 yrs old it may be tough to get that. the gil exaust would sell on ebay, but anyone looking at the motors are going to go with better pipes since gil had the cracking problem. good luck..

That even sounds high considering the age and hours. I'd say 6k for both.

Okay, $6K for both motors then!!! Any takers??
