Drive not going down
#1
On a 2000 Checkmate 259 Convincor (454 MAG EFI/Bravo One with 140 hours) the drive no longer wants to go into the complete down position. Anyone ever have this problem with a Bravo One Drive?

Yes, it can happen if air or fluid is trapped in the trim cylinder behind the ram. This is provided the trim pump is working. Loosen the hydraulic hose on the ram ( the one on top of the rams). When loosened, push the drive down and fluid or air should bleed out, then retighten the hose fitting. This should correct the problem, but be sure the trim pump is full first. The process may need to be repeated several times. This worked for me.
If this is the problem, I would be concerned how it happened and what is leaking... or did the reservoir run dry??
