Does anybody know why the Jason Presley boat ran into Pier 57 boat in the FreezeFrame video that you get for free from joining this site???

Its called [oops i s**t my pants] syndrome.I think he froze at the wheel.

Same reason he ran his Indy car into the wall??

i believe lack of driver skill and an overly enthusiastic throttleman were the main causes of that accident.

I'd agree with Puder. Listen to the on-board shot of the accident. The racers were not blaming Jason. It sort of looked like the boat was trying to turn.

He was damn near killed in an Indy car when it hit the wall. Busted him up real good.
Looks like he aged a bit after that too.

The guy that's doing ExpressCat39's engines was in that race and in the turn when all the commotion took place he had to chop the throttles to keep Priestley from hitting his boat. There's a video out that was shot from in-cockpit cameras placed in the engine builder's boat.
