don't use nitrogen its too heavy ,I use helium. It helps on the trailer rating at the scales. Alittle for the tires ,alittle for me

Wow, I was hoping you were kidding. Thank goodness you were.
Any chance you live somewhere warm? It's 7 degrees here right now.

I find that the cheap low carbon drill bits work best. I also use a die grinder instead of a hand drill for the most rpm needed to turn the drill bit fast as possible until the bit starts turning blue and smoking. At that point it just welds itself right to the bolt and comes right out. Cheaper is not ALWAYS better, but most of the time it is.

Believe it or not, a guy I work with had a spun rod bearing on a GM 3800 Toronado engine. he took the rod cap off and ground a bunch of metal from the mating surface on his trusty bench grinder and threw it back together with a new bearing shell. he was proud as punch for about 4 miles, after which the bearing spun again and pretty much made scrap out of whatever else may have been good inside the motor.
