Give me your best lines for selling your spouse on an Offshore Performance boat
#1
We've decided that we're going to buy a 32-33' boat, but we're not quite on the same page. I want a performance boat; she wants a cruiser so we can take more people and have a lounging area. Give me your best arguments as to why a performance boat is better.
I've already used: "It will ride better in big water", "We can get from point A to point B in half the time", "We don't have that many people around all the time, let them get their own boat!", "It will use less fuel (unless she drives, heavy foot)", "It will hold its value better (may not be true but I used it anyway)", "We have a home on the lake, we don't need another cabin". Help a guy out who wants to join the Offshore ranks!

From my experience;
She doesn't want a crusier, she wants a toilet with a door and a mirror that floats. And if she's really honest she'll admit she wants no kitchen or galley as sailboters would say.
Use this;
-It'll be easier to clean.
-It's to small to invite my brother on.
-I'lll buy you cones so you'll blend in the crowd at party cove.

Honey, think of all the hot chicks I'll be able to pick up when your not around
Umm...
.We can outrun approaching storms.
Resale defenately is much better.
Much more deck sunning area. Where would they all strech out with a cruiser?
Why do we need a big cabin? We won't be spending much time in it and we won't be cooking dinner for eight.
Much more silid construction vs. a cruiser.
MUCH more....dependable.....cheaper to run....eh hem, mabe you should leave those out.

Chicks dig it!!!
I have to make up for my "short" comings.
Your friends suck anyway!
We can trailer a performance boat to other bodies of water.
You'll look much better topless on this boat instead of that boat.
hope these help!!! (We had cruisers for 10 years and just moved to a Formula 312)
I finally took my wife on a poker run with some friends and that got her sold!!!
