There is a 90 db. level on Seneca as well as the rest of the State. However, during the Poker run the SPBA obtains a Federal water way Regatta Permit, which indeed grants us permission to run with-out mufflers for the duration of the wknd. This is the same permit that is required to hold a racing type event.
The only thing you should be getting nervous about is that incredible Auction on Sat. night.
See you at the run! Bill

The 90db. test is done at idle. The db. unit is placed approx. 3ft. back (from transom) and 3ft. up (from swim platform). There is a 2% +/- margin of error allowance. I hope that answers your quest. Bill

Bill,
Thanks for the reply. Hopefully get over to Seneca this year to check out your club.
I spend alot of time on Canandaigua Lake. I have met the Nader Brothers at a friends house, here on Honeoye Lake.
