What kind of things have happened when trying to Fuel your Boat!

I drove off and only after a few minutes of driving, I realized that my wallet was empty!

Aside from the common "Wow that boat must cost 20-25K" I usually just respond, I wish.

Two summers ago I had the 2 coasties want to give me a curtisy check while I was gasing up, I said no I was in a hurry. They started to any way, long story short. while I was being harrassed to show them stuff the gas nozzle leaked about 1oz of gas in the lake. They went ape chit Oh I forgot to mention , one of them was the one holding the nozzle for me while I pulled all the crap out to show them, (so really he spilled it) they were like telling me how they could write me up and stuff and I just said you did it, I'm leaving write a ticket or leave me alone. No ticket I just left

Last summer I started putting gas in the port side at a Flying J, then proceeded to the starboard side to fill both at the same time. After starting the starboard side I realized that I started the port side with diesel instead of gas. I ended up putting in 7 gallons of diesel in. I put another 120 gallons of gas on top of the diesel and crossed my fingers. It never gave me any problems, besides feeling like an idiot for the rest of the day. I figure I started the diesel pump because I was used to filling up my truck with diesel.

A good one is the look on waterheater's face when picking up the tab in FL when we fueled up the rig at a gas station in Lauderdale by 95 on the way to the Key West Poker Run...

We watched some drunk idiot attempt to put gas in his new truck. He kept accidentally squeezing the trigger, spilling gas all over the place while he was trying to find the filler cap of his new truck which he did not yet know where it was. He had to have spilled a half gallon at least. My smart ass friend that was with me asked out loud for all to hear "Anyone got a cigarette"? the drunk dude knew he was ribbing him so he went over to pick a fight. Well we all jumped in and the results was a beat up drunk dude sitting in a lot of gasoline. Attendant called the cops and we all went to jail.

I had a friend helping me gas up. He was to fill the stbd. side while I was filling up the port. He pumped a couple of gallons into the waste dockside pump out. Luckily I had a porti potti that was easy to clean out.
