i need your help. i dont know what to do. i found a 2004 checkmate zt 28 that is a leftover. the price with trailer is 55k and i think the dealer will go lower. the problem is the boat only has a 496 mag. i need to know what this boat will run. i want to do 70 and i know this is not going to do it but i am willing to do a little work. so if anyone can tell me what speeds i shoule see out of it and tell me if you think this is a good deal.thanks guys.

I would guestimate 64-66mph. No experience with that exact hull.
