I am running a pair of Mercury Racing blower motors that are making around 650 HP and lots of torque,they have been great,if you are going to do a conversion do the complete package with the upper helmets and gimble rings etc,good drive package for up to 800 HP.

I am going to build 875hp and I am starting from scratch so I think my choice is going to be the extreme sc with ext box and their hd gimbel. If you don't get crazy should be ok?

Had over 300 trouble free hours in a 32 footer with 700+ hp (Paul Pfaff) when sold, and now have 295 hours on a pair with 525SC's. Know lots of people having outstanding service from them in heavy boats (cig, OL, Hallett etc). Normal maintenance and lube changes...
