Yeah, but truth is truth, and the boat beats cigarettes as well as other boats all the time...if they want to stay loyal to their chosen manufacturer, etc, then fine, let em. I just know what the boat is capable of and said so.

If I get beat by a boat, I personally take interest why, as far as the setup, props, etc., so it doesn't happen again. Entering the cigarette forum was under the thread "what to look for in a cafe" , my friend owns a cafe, and I just said I whoop his ass and suggested different options. If they take offense to logic, then too bad. Cig is still a good boat, but not for me.
So be it...

Rick - that was my old boat & yes It does kick a$$ - I'm still trying to build a boat that is as fast. Just built 2 600hp motors for my 35 Fountain hopefully can beat my personal best of 84 on the Velocity. Anyone thats looking its a great boat & extremely fast for what it is. My buddies still talk about that boat to this day & how many people had there asses handed to them. good luck with the sale.

In florida now and looking for a 42 stagger fountain as I need to run some serious open water to the keys, etc.

Good job rigging that boat, only have had a minor carb problem since I bought it, and haved administered spankings repeatedly on Lake ST. Clair.

Cool - I guess I'll be seeing it around again. Can't go wrong with the Fountain - I love mine - I'd love to step up to the 42 - sounds like the hot ticket.

Just looking at the speed numbers for 42's and they seem like the boat reggie uses to set the records...so looks like the most logical choice.

If you get a post from someone interested in velocity, you have more tech knowledge on the boat than me, and replying to them would be great if you have the time.
