If I get beat by a boat, I personally take interest why, as far as the setup, props, etc., so it doesn't happen again. Entering the cigarette forum was under the thread "what to look for in a cafe" , my friend owns a cafe, and I just said I whoop his ass and suggested different options. If they take offense to logic, then too bad. Cig is still a good boat, but not for me.
So be it...
You had nothing worth wild to say in the Cigarette forum.

I was the guy that asked about the Cafe, and my 23' Velocity will definitely go faster than the 80mph you claim... The Velocity is a nice boat, but will not handle in the ocean.

23 is tiny for the Great Lakes , let alone the ocean.

The Cafe owner is a friend of mine and just stopped by a couple days ago...totally agrees that I can whoop his boat...his does ride nice in mixed up chop, typical of this area.

Dont really go to the cig forum anymore as I dont own one/Cigs are nice, but I just think they require huge power to really go...

just my opinion, for what its worth...probably nothin...

I assume that the hoist worked out good...havent heard any problems...its going behind your house correct...any questions on hoist or boat let me know, that hoist is fantastic when its setup right, boat is in my driveway ,same house you towed it to 3 years ago.

This snow is ridiculous, gotta get back to tampa.

He hasn't tried out the lift just yet, he's hoping to have a Velocity on it soon - we will be in touch

Let me know...now that the april blizzard is over...have had a few serious calls, no buyer yet, but it might be time to start it up in the driveway at least. Not really any different than when you had it except for a few more hours...that crate motor still fires right up and idles perfect.

Really dont want to put in salt water and tow to florida, but need to get back down there soon.
