I've been trying to buy some Recaro's for a month now and every distributor seems to be on crack. They either don't answer their phone, or don't reply to messages, or can't get decent information on brackets, or something.
All I want to do is spend some money and put new seats in my truck, is THAT too much to ask?

Try Sparco. They are a high end seat also. There imported from Italy.
I have the older version of these I bought for my 66 Mustang still in the box
With the Carbon Fiber and Kevlar they only weight 8.8 lbs.

Thanks Rob, I found the seats I wanted and was so impressed by the vendor that I bought a second set for my Camaro.
This ought to be a lesson for folks in the aftermarket business. There are folks like me that can spend a buck now and then on the stuff we want - but at least want some intelligent responses to questions and a level of service relative to the amount of money to be spent. All it took was a guy on the other end of the phone that was enthusiatic about having my business and I spent almost 2x what I thought I would spend - and I'm happy about it!
