Source for Reliable Weather/Condition Reports?
New to the board & SoFLA, but not new to boating. Glad I found this place (OSO & SoFLA), but wish I had sooner!
Can anyone provide a (web-based?) reliable source for local marine conditions and weather forecasts that are boater-friendly? I cannot hear anything when Jackie Johnson is giving the weather report and watching Bill Kamal makes my butt itch.

I tend to believe NOAA more than the locals, It takes a while to find the right information and what to glean from it but they have winds maps and forcast that are usually pretty good. http://weather.noaa.gov and go from there.

I with formula on this one. NOAA does seem to have the most accurate marine forecast. However, we are talking about weatherman here. Trust me there are no guarantees. Last summer we stayed over night down the cape. The forecast for the next day was for sw 10mph 2-4' seas. We woke up to 30 mph out of the west with 6-8' seas. Yes, the 18 mile ride home sucked.
