Do boat manufacturers keep wiring diagrams?? HELP

I have an old boat
and the wiring looks like it came straight from italy (spaghetti) I am fighting a serious wiring issue right now. Do manufacturers keep this info on file or just build the boat and move on to the next one? Im gettin kinda angry at this point

I have diagrams for an 88 Chris Craft Stinger if that would help. Also the Thunderbolt 4 wiring diagram can be found here:

And if you do a search someone posted a list of typical boat color codes for wires.
Even with diagrams it can be a PITA.

All over the place. Mind you the boat is a 77 so I expected it, but it was 70 degrees today, Im getting worried

I have complete wiring harnesses, Round Merc plug on engine end and flat 2 row on the other. Yank that crap out and start again! I just pulled wire through an old Fountain over the weekend that had the same problem. It's not worth tracing down if the wires are all corroded and ready to break anyway.
