I would take one with small blocks, like nascar stuff that revs up to 9k, how cool would that sound.

Who needs the extra 1,000 lbs from the big blocks.

Sean, I see you're from LOTO? I was thinking about going to the shootout this year (my boat is on it's way back to MI for the summer)....I was reading on another thread that you have to float in line most of the day?? Is that true??
From all the pics I've seen, it looks crowded...

you do have to wait in line to make your pass, but it isn't all that bad...

it's no more crowded than that pic you posted..

here is a pic from the poker run last week.... nice and wide open (43 nor-tech and 46 skater with some runabout trying not to get creamed...)

Too bad I missed that poker run....is there another at LOTO this year?

Is the shootout worth the wait in line? It looks like a fun party, but maybe a hairy ride....I've seen the pics of a few boats wiping out...
Obviously, I have no chance at the top gun...but I was told I'd probably win my class....whatever that is? I can't find a break down of classes...
I guess it depends on what else is happening that weekend..

I think we're doing the Smoke on the water and the WMPA dash for cash....other than those..undecided (I can't wait!!)

Dank368-

So thats your boat in the new Powerboat mag? All I gota say is that is like my dream boat of all time. What is the real top speed on that thing because I know 134 is not the top.

Don't know yet...I hit 157 at the Havasu poker run with 6 people, stock props, and I had throttle left....
It's on it's way to MI come tuesday...and Keith Holmes is going to help me dial it in and hit a top speed.....so, in a month or two I'll know better...

Damn man that is sweet. What can I do for a ride man I'll do anything, ha ha. Your boat is flat out just redicolous, I cant find words that discribe it. The mag said it was $534,000 to me that seems a lot lower than what I would have guessed and by what I ve seen some like it cost.
