Post Skater 24' Single?

Has anyone ever seen or owned a 24 with a single engine? In theory it should work similar to the 21footer. Remember, this hull was designed when 225hp was about the max ob hp avalible and many were rigged with stock 200's. I am thinking that a single hot 2.5 or a 300x may push pretty well.

If you can find a 2000 or a 2001 Mercury brochure, they have a 24 rigged with a single 300 promax.

Thumbs up

300X will push you to about 80.

Ironman, I heard that the brochure boat did not run real well with the 225. However, with the 300X it may be OK. How many friends will be with you? How fast do you want to go? Can you deal with the wallowing around at slow speeds with a load? I think it would be fun if the conditions are good for the set-up.

Ironman unless this boat has a center pod it will be a pig at slow and medium speeds untill the tunnel blows out. The prop will be very deep untill the tunnel blows out. Good luck let us know what you do?
